Recovery starts with community.
Empowering Mercer County through recovery, outreach, and awareness.
About MCCDA
Building a stronger, healthier community together
The Mercer County Coalition for Drug Awareness (MCCDA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.
Through our ROAR Center (Removing Obstacles to Assist Recovery), we provide a safe, welcoming space where community members can access peer support, attend recovery meetings, and connect with resources that promote healing and long-term wellness.
Our mission is to reduce stigma, increase awareness, and empower individuals on their journey to recovery through compassionate, community-driven support.
Peer Support
Connect with others who understand your journey. Our peer-led groups provide a judgment-free space for sharing and healing.
Education
We provide evidence-based education and resources about addiction, recovery, and wellness to our community.
Community Outreach
Through partnerships and outreach programs, we bring support and resources directly to those who need them most.
ROAR Drop-In Center
A safe, welcoming space open to all
The ROAR Center is more than just a meeting spaceβit's a community hub where recovery happens every day.
Whether you're seeking support for yourself or a loved one, exploring recovery for the first time, or maintaining long-term sobriety, our doors are open. Drop in for coffee, conversation, or to attend one of our peer-led groups and meetings.
